I have qualified as a physiotherapist in 1997 from MGR University, India. Since then worked in various specialities such as musculoskeletal, Neurology, paediatrics and learning disabilities in renowned hospitals in India.

I moved to the UK in 2004 and have worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist both in the NHS and also in the private sector, after completing my M.Sc in Neurology from Sheffield Hallam University.

The whole of my career in the UK, I have worked as a specialist community physiotherapist for long term neurological conditions such as Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, Motor neuron diseases, Ataxia and peripheral neuropathies; Stroke and brain injuries. Also has wide experience in elderly care for falls and balance issues and therapy for young adults with learning disabilities and autism. I have skills in providing physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, 24hrs posture management, wheel chair assessment and moving and handling techniques. I continuously update my knowledge with latest techniques by attending various courses frequently. Recently completed Pilates, gym ball therapy and using bobath techniques for upper limb activities.

I joined Ilkley Physiotherapy in 2016 months ago and since then working part of the team. My hobbies are reading, cooking and looking after two lovely daughters during my free time.
